The Groundbreaking Ceremony For the First Phase of the Yulong Gold's Liaoyang Silica Mine Project Was Held Successfully

清风破土迎新貌，蓄势待发启新程。7月20日，玉龙股份辽阳双利硅石矿项目一期选矿厂奠基仪式在灯塔市铧子镇隆重举行，这标志着项目建设正式进入实质性阶段，玉龙股份在东北地区的矿业战略布局迈出了坚实的一步。

The breeze breaks ground to welcome the new look, ready to start a new journey.On July 20th, the groundbreaking ceremony for the first phase of the concentrator of Yulong Gold’s Liaoyang Shuangli Silica Mine Project was held in Huazi town, Dengta city. It marked the formal entry of the project construction into a substantive stage, and Yulong Gold took a solid step in the mining strategic layout in Northeast China.

灯塔市双利硅石矿项目是玉龙股份在东北地区拓展的首个矿业项目，该项目顺利实现开工奠基对提升公司在东北地区矿业市场知名度将起到极大的助推作用。该项目一期设计产能50万吨/a，厂区占地面积60余亩，建设厂房面积12000㎡，设计破碎线1条，选矿生产线2条，建设周期约8个月，预计2023年11月底完成厂房主体建设和设备安装，2024年3月正式达到设计产能。作为玉龙股份国内矿业战略布局中的先力军，灯塔硅石矿项目在加快推进一期建设的同时，将按照集团对公司实业运营板块的要求，通过强化与中建材玻璃国家级实验室以及大学等专业机构合作，不断加强石英岩矿应用技术的研究，深入拓展光伏玻璃、硅酸钠、冶金等下游市场，以矿产资源为核心布局高端产业链条，最大化将资源潜力转化为经济效益，不断为地方产业经济健康发展贡献力量，全力赋能集团实业运营板块实现高质量发展。

Shuangli Silica Mine Project in Dengta city is the first mining project developed by Yulong Gold in Northeast China. The successful commencement of this project will greatly boost the visibility of the company in the mining market in that region.The first phase of the project has a designed production capacity of 500,000 tons/a, with a factory district of more than 60 mu(a Chinese unit of area, which is equal to 1/15 of a hectare or 1/6 an acre), a workshop area of 12,000 ㎡, a designed broken line and two ore dressing production lines, with a construction period of about 8 months. It is estimated that the main workshop building construction and equipment installation will be completed by the end of November 2023, and the designed production capacity will be officially reached in March 2024. As a pioneer in the strategic layout of Yulong Gold's domestic mining industry, Dengta Silica Mine project will accelerate the construction of the first phase, in accordance with the Group's requirements for the company's industrial operation sector, through strengthening cooperation with China Building Materials Glass national laboratory and universities and other professional institutions, continue to strengthen the quartzite mine application technology research. And further expand photovoltaic glass, sodium silicate, metallurgy and other downstream markets. In the meanwhile, the project will lay out a high-end industrial chain with mineral resources as the core, maximize the transformation of resource potential into economic benefits, continuously contribute to the healthy development of local industrial economy, and fully empower the industrial operation sector of the Group to achieve high-quality development.

灯塔市委常委、统战部部长赵英杰，灯塔市经济开发区管委会副主任刘克发，项目所在地、镇领导，辽阳市建行、农行等金融机构及部分合作单位负责人参加活动并为项目进行奠基；玉龙股份相关领导以及项目公司有关负责人参加活动。

Zhao Yingjie, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Dengta Standing Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, and Liu Kefa, deputy director of the Management Committee of Dengta Economic Development Zone, attended the event and laid the foundation for the project with the project location and town leaders, Liaoyang City Construction Bank, Agricultural Bank of China and other financial institutions heads. Relevant leaders of Yulong Gold and persons in charge of the project attended the event.
